How we test

WORN / TESTED is a review and news site about products from design and sport: shoes, eyewear, outerwear and the gear around them. We review things after we have worn them, follow the drops worth knowing about, and write about where design is heading.

  1. Worn, then written

    A review comes after real use. Each one says how long the product was used, and where.

  2. Ties at the top

    If the editor founded, works for or is paid by a brand, it says so at the top of every post about it. We do not score brands we are tied to.

  3. Samples named

    If a brand sent the product, lent it or paid for anything, the post says so.

  4. Facts sourced

    Specs and prices come from the brand or a source linked at the end of the post.
